Invite the Library to Your Event!

Would you like library representation at your event? Broome County Library staff is available to publicize library services to the community.

Here's what you'll need to know:

As scheduling permits, Broome County Public Library will provide staff to community events for the purpose of promoting the library. Staff will bring newsletters, bookmarks, and other handouts promoting library services and programs. We will also offer library card registration forms. Requests for appearances must be submitted at least one week in advance.

- Your organization's name

- Type of organization (business, school, childcare, nonprofit organization, etc.)

- Contact person's name, email address, and phone number
- Does your venue have wireless internet access?

- Title of the event

- Date of the event, including starting and ending time

- Event location, including street address

- Will the event take place indoor or outdoors?

- Will you provide a table and chairs?

- Will an electrical outlet be available?

- Age or grade level of the event’s primary audience

- Number of adults and children expected to attend
